Hello and Welcome, My Name is Richard F. Hill.

This site is created to help raise funds to the two following charities.

This type of site has been done before. The reason I am doing this is to raise funds for the Muscular Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA.Org) and Families of SMA (FSMA.Org).

My goal is to raise $1,00,000.00. Not all the funds I hope to raise will be used for my own personal purpose, as many of the other pixel type sites that popped up in the past. I will be donating 50% of the money raised (after all the pixels have been sold) to the two following non profit charities:
Families of SMA (FSMA.Org) (Will receive $250,000 when all the pixels are sold.)
Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA.Org) (Will receive $250,000 when all the pixels are sold.)

I was diagnosed at the age of 18 or 19 years of age with a form of Muscular Dystrophy called SMA type 3. Spinal Muscular Atrophy type III. (Also Known As; Kugelberg - Welander Disease.) At that time there was not a whole lot known about SMA III. The Dr's wanted to get me in a wheel chair right then and there. I was not ready... And I am still not ready to give up this fight. I know once I have to depend on a wheel chair full time, well that will be the beginning of the end for me. I do use a wheel chair to get me to and from Dr's appointments and medical test/exams. Do to the newest medical issue of fracturing my right leg.

In 2007 I have been in and out of my local ER and (4 times from Nov 27- Dec 27). After months of some serious pain. And going through a battery of test, x-rays and an MRI we discovered I have a torn ligament in my left shoulder.

The newest medical issues I had a fall on Sept, 2nd 2009. And fractured my right femur at the knee. I spent 3 months in my wheel chair. I want through 4 months of physical therapy to get me back up and walking, which has not been easy. That amount of time not being able to get up and walk with a broken leg made what little muscle mass I have left very challenging. I am slowly walking again with my walker.

I have been slowly getting back up and walking again with my walker after being in the wheel chair for months. It has started aggravating that torn ligament in the left shoulder again.

I have also discovered just this past Monday, April, 26th 2010 that I have now have Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ). My jaw clicks, grinds, and is a bit out of alignment. We will know more and how bad it may be after I get this next MRI. And the TMJ issue going on it has given me a mismatched bite, and now I have three broken teeth that I will need to get dental work in the future.

If it isn't one thing it's another.

I am offering a service, and I have never asked for any special treatment form anyone. But I am really at a point of no where else to turn. I am under a great deal of stress with all the medical issues of the past 3 years. So with the other half of the money I hope to earn from this site. I would like to purchase a house and modify it slightly to my current medical needs. I would also like to purchase a mini van with a wheel chair lift. I will also need more psychical therapy for the muscular dystrophy in the future. As well as many chiropractor visits. Acupuncture has been very helpful with the shoulder and the knee pains.
